We are conveniently situation in Preston City Centre at Stoneygate Children's Centre where children and families can access a wide range of services. Our staff are well-qualified early years practitioners led by two highly experiences teachers. Many of ou staff are bi-lungual.
Each child and family has a key worker who forms a special relationship with you and your child. We promote healthy living and provide nutritious meals and snacks. Above all, we make sure there are no barriers to any child achieving their full potential and having the best possible foundaitons for the next stages of their life and education.

Fees and subsidies
Please ask our staff for details of fees and subsidies - you may be eligible for tax credits to pay some or all of these. Parents are entitled to claim the nursery education grant the term after a child's third birthday.
Children with disabilities
We have information available about the steps we take to prevent disabled children from being treated less favourably than other children. If your child has a disability, please telephone us to discuss the arrangements that we can make to meet their needs.

Our work with children
We provide a wide range of fun-based, first-hand play and learning activities which are planned and supervised by qualified teachers.
Children experience structured teaching in short, enjoyable sessions. We observe what children can do and build on their skills and experiences. Key workers regularly assess and evaluation children's progress. They will discuss this with you and ensure that your child's records are always available for you to see.
How we care for children
We have 12 places for children aged 0-2 years, in two well-resourced baby rooms, where up to six children are cared for by two key workers. Children aged 2-3 years have their own spacious well-equipped room where up to 24 children are cared for in groups of four to each key worker. When children are ready, at age 3-5 years, they join the children in the excellent nursery school area where up to 24 children are cared for in groups of eight children to each worker. All ages of children have access to our attractive play areas and gardens.
We listen to the views of parents and the local community and provide the services they want. Information and courses are available in the Centre to help you become involved in your child's education.
