Peace of Mind 4 Carers

Caritas Care, in partnership with Nugent Care of the Liverpool Archdiocese, has secured a contract from Lancashire County Council to provide emergency replacement care to people in their own homes in north and south Lancashire. The project involves the preparation of emergency contingency plans for everyone in the County who is dependent upon a carer so that effective substitute care can be provided in case of an emergency.

A 24 hour call line has been established and Caritas Care provides replacement care for those calling upon the service within an hour of notification.
