Youthport
Youthport delivers youth work provision for young people of secondary school age. Launched in 2006, the club opens two evenings a week and has a weekly aggregate attendance of 60. It is based at the Ewanrigg and Netherton Community Centre and is managed by a Caritas Care project worker, supported by a number of local volunteers. The work of the project is guided by the Every Youth Matters agenda. In addition to the usual range of indoor and outdoor youth work activities, there is informal learning input on a number of issues including health and well being; personal safety and relationships.
