Award for Busy Project

At the recent Learners Awards 2012 from Lancashire Adult Learning,  the Gardening Club received the Community Project Award. Project Worker Maureen Santarcangelo received the Award on behalf of Wesham Interact Project, Caritas Care's project for older people.    The Gardening Club is  a most popular class, led by Radio Lancashire's very own  gardener, and providing techiques and handy tips for all the year through.  Like many of the other classes that Wesham Interact provide, there is stimulation and interest for the over 55s, a chance to learn and to grow.  Growth for plants and students alike !
