Fashion Show 2012

Posted on 18th July 2012 by Sue Titterington

Caritas Care’s Vision in People Project held their annual Fashion Show on 21 June 2012 at St Walburge’s Church Hall in Preston.  The Fashion Show is always very popular and this year was no exception.  Models Sharon, Lucy, Amie, Hayley and Sarah looked fabulous as they modeled clothes supplied by Juniper Fashion before their largest audience so far. The show ended with a surprise finale of 60s fashion provided by the ‘3 Sisters’ fancy dress shop.

Vision in People Team Leader and Senior Support Worker, Moira and Kelly, planned the whole event whilst backstage preparations were provided by a team of people.  The girls’ hair, make up and outfit changes were done by Suzanna, Vicky, Marcia and her daughter.

Following the Fashion Show, guests were entertained by Phil from Salsa North West where they could move to the rhythm of a Salsa beat.

The event raised a small amount of money for the work of Vision in People through a cake stall – thanks to Anne and Vicky our talented bakers – and a tombola with prizes donated from Boots of Preston, Lush, Jo and Cass Hair Salon, Mario’s Italian Restaurant, staff and supporters.

Our thanks go to all those who came along and supported us on the day.
