Homeless in Blackpool transfers to Caritas Care
Posted on 12th September 2011 by John Gildert
Throughout 2010/2011 we have been working with the Trustees of Homeless in Blackpool, a Blackpool based charity, to affect a transfer of its operations to Caritas Care.
Homeless in Blackpool provides hostel care for up to 15 homeless people who are required to have some connection with the Blackpool area. Support is offered to individuals aged 16 to 65 and is designed to enable these people to work through some of the complex issues in their lives and to ultimately move on to permanent independent accommodation of their own. The Trustees are proud to add this service to the range of work it delivers and are happy to welcome the staff, volunteers and supporters to Caritas Care.
