We have a rare and an exciting opportunity for a social worker to join our experienced and passionate Fostering Team at Caritas Care, to cover maternity absence. We are a well-established Not for Profit Fostering Agency serving the North West, committed to delivering high quality and caring homes to children and young people. As a charity we have been providing Childrens Services for over 90 years, and our fostering services for over 25 years.
About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Supervising Social Worker to cover the Lancashire and wider North West area supervising and supporting a small caseload of fostering families and children.
In this varied role, you will be involved in recruiting, training, and assessing prospective foster carers, as well as providing ongoing supervision to foster carers and support to children to achieve the best possible outcomes. You will be part of an experienced and supportive team with a collaborative working ethos.
