Providing structure, support and encouragement to residents to move forward and reach the ultimate goal living independently.

Welcome to Vincent House.
Supported accommodation in private rooms for 16 (plus 1 emergency bed) single people  16 – 65 years of age, with shared bathroom and toilet facilities.

Residents are actively involved in the day-to-day running of the project, including menu planning and food preparation.

We provide structure and encourage residents to move forward and reach the ultimate goal of securing a tenancy with a local housing provider.

On average residents are with us for 6 – 9 months and each resident has a key worker to help them create an individual support plan and identify their main goals.

Staffed 24/7, Vincent House works closely with statutory agencies to make sure residents get the support they need to move forward.

We have recently had a group trip out camping for 3 nights, which included a Go Ape assault course and learning archery skills. We also keep the residents busy with other activities, such as gardening, fishing and cooking.

We have also recently had a resident learning about upholstering.

We provide:

  • Individual advice and guidance on a wide range of issues
  • Assistance with benefits and money management
  • Help to develop our residents’ independent living skills
  • Resettlement expertise to enable residents to move on into a tenancy agreement
  • Signposting to other specialist agencies and services
  • In-house training and volunteering opportunities.
