Accelerating social change meant that the number of boys living at St. Vincent’s, Tulketh Road, had dwindled. The remaining four boys transferred from there to the John Reynolds Home in Lytham, which closed in 1971. After closing as a children’s home in 1965, Tulketh Road became the administrative and operational centre for the Charity.
