It’s fantastic news that the fostering network’s ‘don’t move me’ campaign has been a success!

This now means any young person living with a foster carer has that certainty of ‘staying put’ and remaining with their foster carer until they are 23!

This is a great move forward to ensure the stability and ultimately a young person’s sense of belonging and security.

Many of the young people here at Caritas Care remain with their foster carers, post 18, as they have found a place to call home. We are proud to share that 75% of all young people who reached the age of 18 since staying put was introduced in 2014 have remained with their foster carers on staying put.

This figure highlights the success of good matching and support offered to our foster carers, something of which we are incredibly proud of.
